Under floor Air…a solution made possible only by the industry leaders Tate, York and Honeywell are experts in their respective areas, with well-established track records. Now, they've pooled their knowledge to create a complete solution with each company bringing state-of-the-art, customer focused systems to the alliance. Tate's raised access floors offer strength, ease of installation and reconfigurabilty over other access flooring systems. ConCore®/PosiLock's™ advanced construction accommodates larger cutouts required for under floor air distribution, a significant advantage over “concrete pan” construction in which panel strength is compromised and weakened by the cutout. YORK leads the way in HVAC with their FlexSys® under floor air distribution solution. It uses the same variable air volume technology as ducted air distribution systems - and it does so with improved configuration flexibility, improved comfort, enhanced energy savings and lower overall operating costs. The VAV terminal can also be integrated with TateFlex®, Tate's modular wiring solution for under floor power, voice and data. Honeywell maximizes energy savings and fully leverages the benefits of FlexSys by providing state-of-the-art open control. Honeywell's contribution starts with a unique UL-listed, specially developed actuator that turns 360 degrees and is virtually noiseless. In addition, the actuator is designed to plug into the terminal without the use of any tools. The open system platform provides complete transparent control from a single location on or offsite-making building operations accessible for remote monitoring and diagnostics.
